The IEEE International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS) will be hosted for the 19th time from 05th to 06th December 2025, at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya.

A team from the University of Peradeniya, including Prof. Janaka Ekanayaka and Dr. Nalin Harischandra from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, participated in the 2nd Consortium Meeting held at Maldives National University under the three-year collaborative Erasmus+ EU project, DIGITAsia.

One of the teams from the University of Peradeniya has secured the top spot among the Sri Lankan contestants in the global coding challenge IEEEXtreme 19.0 while securing the 05th position globally.
