DEEE proudly announces that a research paper from the department's GenAI team has been accepted for publication in the ICLR proceedings, a top-tier venue in artificial intelligence and learning systems.

The Department is inviting applications for the first intake of 2026. The deadline for submissions has been EXTENDED to 9th February 2026.

IEEE International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS) was hosted for the 19th time from 16th to 17th January, 2025, at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya.
