Biography
Dr. K.R.M.N. Ratnayake obtained a BSc Hons Degree from the University of Peradeniya in 1990. In 1994, he became a charted engineer in Sri Lanka. He joined Gifu University as a postgraduate student in January 1995. He received the MEng. and Ph.D. degrees from Gifu University, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. Since then, he is serving as an academic member at the University of Peradeniya. During early 2000, he served as a visiting academic consultant to a newly established Engineering Faculty-Ruhuna. Also, he has involved with other academic institute in Sri Lanka as an external subject moderator and served as a member in teaching panels on his sabbatical. He has been a member of IEEE since 1995 and sever in various capacities locally, namely, a founding ex-Co member of the IEEE Sri Lanka section and being involved in various other capacities at the IEEE activities. He has over 20 years of postdoctoral experience in teaching, research, and professional experience.
