High Voltage -The Power to Transform Your World

The High Voltage Engineering Laboratory (HVE Lab) is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the study of high voltage phenomena and the development of high voltage technologies. The lab is equipped with a variety of high voltage generating and measuring equipment, and testing facilities. These test facilities are now vitally used for undergraduate and postgraduate research activities and laboratory experiments, for consultancy services for industry, i.e. CEB, LTL PLC, and for demonstrations for regular visitors.

The HVE Lab is used by students and researchers from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department to conduct experiments on a variety of topics and further as a resourceful team, we are capable of dealing with problems related to electrical insulation in high voltage apparatus and would like to render our Engineering services to outside institutions and industries.
