Student will be able to,

ILO1: Derive ABCD parameters for short, medium and long lines and discuss the factors that govern line loadability.
ILO2: Construct Bewley Lattice diagrams for different over-voltage surges.
ILO3: Discuss protection of different systems and design a protection coordination system using manual calculations and commercially available software.
ILO4: Calculate economic dispatch solutions.
ILO5: Model different power system components and discuss different control approaches used in power system.
