Student will be able to,

ILO1: Carry out an optimisation exercise to understand the operation of Sri Lankan power system with large penetration of renewables.
ILO2: Calculate different quantities associated with HVDC transmission.
ILO3: Describe different FACTS devices available for active power flow control.
ILO4: Describe different devices available for reactive power flow control.
ILO5: Analyse a given system with active and reactive power control method.
