Biography
Dr. Sudheera Navaratne received his B.Sc. from Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya in 2007 specializing Electrical and telecommunication Engineering. After moving to USA to pursue his post graduate studies he start specializing in Smart Grid and related areas. Dr. Sudheera Navaratne completed his M.Sc. in 2012 from Purdue University, USA, with a focus on Advanced Metering Infrastructure and its security. He received his Ph.D. from Purdue University in 2016. His areas of interest include Smart Grids, Micro Grids, Distributed Energy Resources and use of AI and Multi Agent Systems in Smart Grid and Micro Grid applications.
