The control, robotics, and automation laboratory is the DEEE facility where students and researchers can learn about and experiment with the latest technologies in control, robotics, and automation. The laboratory is typically equipped with a variety of hardware and software, including industrial manipulators, mobile robots, sensors, actuators, and controllers and experimental setups.
This laboratory is used for a variety of purposes, including, Teaching students about the principles of control, robotics, and automation, Conducting research in the same areas, developing new products and applications in control, robotics, and automation. Control laboratory is an essential part of the education and research in Electrical and ELectronic Engineering field and provide students and researchers with the tools and resources they need to learn about and develop new technologies in control, robotics, and automation.
CONTRIBUTION TO TEACHING

Research and Innovation
This laboratory provide facilities for research and development of control systems for robots, automation and other inter-related areas. As mentioned, the lab has a variety of equipment and resources that allow students and staff to test and develop new control algorithms and techniques. Some of the common research and development topics that are investigated in control and robotics lab include: motion control, force control, sensor fusion, autonomous navigation, assembly line control, visual servo control, dynamic system modelling, etc. Some of the recent collaborative projects with the industry and other research institutions and also postgraduate projects can be found here: collaborations of institutions, industry and PG projects.
