The National Engineering and Technology Exhibition, "TECHNO2023", took place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) from 20th to 22nd October 2023. Since its debut in 1985, the IESL's premier event, Techno Sri Lanka, has become the largest and only engineering and technology show held annually in Colombo. This exhibition aims to showcase the latest innovations, products, and talent from around the world and provides a platform for industry professionals, business leaders, technologists, and the general public to come together. Over three days, "Techno" has demonstrated various methods to improve people's living conditions, making it a significant event that attracts a large audience.

The stall of DEEE at TECHNO2023 proudly showcased groundbreaking innovations and breakthroughs created by the brilliant minds of DEEE. Our stall was in the Industrial/Commercial area of the exhibition floor. With attractive presentations of innovative projects, it drew many visitors and became the center of attention among industry stalls. These projects belong to various fields such as Power Electronics and Industrial Systems, Electric Vehicles, Biomedical Engineering, and Instrumentation, Remote Sensing, Artificial Intelligence and Signal and Image Processing, Communication and Information Engineering, Control and Robotic Applications, among others. Some of these projects have emerged as a result of collaborative efforts across different disciplines.
